Getting Here
Tissington is situated 5 miles north of Ashbourne on the
A515 Ashbourne to Buxton road - and is clearly signed offto the right.
From the South (M1)
Take the M1 to Junction 24 and follow the signs to A50 Uttoxeter and Stoke. (Follow the directions for Alton Towers) then after 15 miles or so take the A515 signed towards Ashbourne. At Ashbourne follow the road A515 towards Buxton, then as above.
Exit the M42 at Junction 9 and go past the Belfry Golf Centre on the A446. Proceed onto the A38 towards Lichfield and then take the A38 towards Burton on Trent. After Burton take a left onto the A50 towards Uttoxeter/Stoke and then come off that road at Sudbury when you see the sign A515 for Ashbourne, then as above.
