The Hall is open to visitors from Tuesday 27th July on Tues Wed Thurs & Fri afternoons 1.30-4.00pm. until Aug 30th.Come and explore the centuries of history at this magnificently maintained country-house, home to the FitzHerbert family for 500 years. |

PAIR of SHOES found at WEDDING
This pair of rather flattering shoes were found at a recent wedding at Tissington Hall. On Sunday the shoes were found without an owner in the Marquee on the lawns at this C17 house. |

Welcome back Lord St Helens
After restoration, one of Tissington Hall's major paintings has returned to the Hall and its rightful place. Assisted by a grant from the Heritage Conservation Trust, the painting of Lord St Helens by Douglas Hamilton now hangs in the Hall that is open to visitors this Summer. Dates are from 27 July.. |

FLYCATCHER CAUGHT ON CAMERA in the GARDENS
